Monitor and enforce store policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety.
Conduct regular patrols of store premises to identify and deter potential security threats.
Utilize CCTV systems to monitor and investigate suspicious activities.
Respond to and resolve customer and employee safety concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and report them to the appropriate channels.
Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective security strategies.
Conduct thorough investigations of theft, fraud, and other security incidents, and work with law enforcement as needed.
Train and educate store associates on proper security procedures and protocols.
Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities within the store.
Stay updated on current security trends and technologies to ensure the store's security measures are up to date.
Communicate effectively with customers and employees to diffuse potentially volatile situations.
Remain vigilant at all times and respond quickly and appropriately to any security breaches or emergencies.
Work with the store's leadership team to develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times and serve as a positive representative of the company.
Continuously assess and improve asset protection and safety protocols to ensure the store's compliance with company standards and local laws.

Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: An Ideal Candidate For An Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques Such As Cctv Monitoring, Physical Security Measures, And Fraud Detection.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Notice And Report Any Suspicious Activity Is Crucial For An Asset Protection Agent. This Role Requires A Keen Eye And An Attention To Detail In Order To Identify Potential Theft Or Fraud.
Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role As Asset Protection Agents Are Responsible For Interacting With Customers, Employees, And Law Enforcement Personnel. A Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally In Various Situations.
Physical Fitness: As An Asset Protection Agent, One May Be Required To Stand Or Walk For Long Periods Of Time, As Well As Lift And Move Heavy Objects. Therefore, A Certain Level Of Physical Fitness Is Necessary For This Position.
Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement: Previous Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement Is Highly Desirable For An Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's. This Could Include Roles Such As Security Guard, Loss Prevention Officer, Or Police Officer. This Experience Can Provide Valuable Skills And Knowledge For The Job.
