Monitor and patrol the store premises to detect and prevent potential theft, fraud, and safety hazards.
Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and engage with customers to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience.
Utilize surveillance equipment and conduct thorough investigations to identify and apprehend individuals involved in theft or fraudulent activities.
Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to handle incidents and maintain a safe environment.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
Identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
Train and educate store employees on safety and security procedures, including emergency protocols and theft prevention techniques.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and investigations, and submit reports as required.
Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in theft prevention and safety to continuously improve the effectiveness of asset protection measures.
Uphold the company's ethical standards and code of conduct while carrying out all responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Educational Requirement That Showcases The Candidate's Ability To Understand And Follow Instructions.
Prior Experience In Security Or Loss Prevention: Previous Experience In A Similar Role With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Preventing Theft And Shrinkage.
Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Co-Workers, And Law Enforcement Personnel To Handle Security Incidents And Provide Excellent Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Security And Safety Protocols: Familiarity With Security Systems, Surveillance Equipment, And Safety Procedures To Ensure A Safe And Secure Environment For Customers And Employees.
