- Monitor and maintain store security measures to prevent theft and loss of company assets.
- Conduct regular patrols of the store to deter and identify potential security threats.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or behavior to management and/or law enforcement.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Review CCTV footage and investigate any incidents of theft or loss.
- Collaborate with store management to identify and address areas of vulnerability and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
- Train and educate store team members on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with any security-related concerns or issues.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all security incidents and investigations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention techniques.
- Act as a liaison with law enforcement and assist with any investigations or legal proceedings.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations or alarms.
- Continuously assess and improve security protocols to enhance overall store safety and protection of assets.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Qualified Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Such As Cctv Monitoring, Inventory Management, And Investigating Theft And Fraud.
Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail In Order To Identify And Prevent Potential Risks To The Store's Assets. A Qualified Agent Should Be Able To Spot Inconsistencies In Inventory And Transactions And Take Appropriate Action.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Asset Protection Agent, You Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Other Team Members, Management, And Law Enforcement. This Includes Writing Detailed Reports And Providing Clear And Concise Verbal Updates.
Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods Of Time. A Qualified Agent Should Be Physically Fit To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
