Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members and customers within the store.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety.
Conduct regular security checks and audits to identify potential risks and prevent theft and other security breaches.
Utilize surveillance equipment and other tools to monitor and track suspicious activity.
Respond quickly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies.
Collaborate with store management and other team members to identify and address potential security issues.
Educate team members on safety and security protocols and provide training as needed.
Conduct thorough investigations of any reported incidents and work with law enforcement as necessary.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to security and asset protection.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in asset protection and safety.
Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Continuously evaluate and improve security measures to ensure the highest level of protection for our assets and customers.
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the performance of job duties.
Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed and updated on company policies and procedures.
Serve as a role model for upholding the company's values and commitment to integrity and excellence.

Job Qualifications

Experience In Loss Prevention: A Qualified Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's Should Have Previous Experience In Loss Prevention, Ideally In A Retail Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Theft Prevention Techniques, Investigative Procedures, And Report Writing.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Asset Protection Agent, You Will Need To Interact With Both Customers And Employees. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Policies And Procedures, Conducting Interviews, And Managing Conflicts.
Attention To Detail: Asset Protection Agents Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Recognize Suspicious Activity Or Behavior. This Includes Noticing Discrepancies In Inventory, Monitoring Store Surveillance Systems, And Reviewing Transaction Records.
Knowledge Of Safety And Security Protocols: The Safety And Security Of Both Customers And Employees Is A Top Priority At Lowe's. A Qualified Asset Protection Agent Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety And Security Protocols, Including Emergency Procedures, Fire Safety, And Evacuation Plans.
Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Long Periods Of Standing, Walking, And Physically Apprehending Suspects. A Qualified Asset Protection Agent Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Duties Without Difficulty.
