  1. Monitor Store Security: The Asset Protection Agent will be responsible for monitoring the store's security cameras and conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the store and its assets.
  2. Identify and Address Suspicious Activity: The Agent will be responsible for identifying and addressing any suspicious activity within the store, including potential theft, fraud, or other security concerns.
  3. Respond to Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, the Agent will be responsible for responding quickly and appropriately, following all safety and security protocols.
  4. Communicate with Customers and Employees: The Agent will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and employees, providing assistance and information as needed, and addressing any security concerns or issues that may arise.
  5. Enforce Store Policies: The Agent will be responsible for enforcing all store policies and procedures, especially those related to security and theft prevention.
  6. Collaborate with Management: The Agent will work closely with store management to develop and implement security strategies and protocols, as well as to address any security-related concerns.
  7. Conduct Investigations: In the event of a security incident, the Agent will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, and reporting findings to management and law enforcement if necessary.
  8. Stay Informed: The Agent will be responsible for staying informed about current security trends and techniques, and implementing new strategies as needed to ensure the safety and security of the store.
  9. Maintain Confidentiality: The Agent will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive information related to store security, including investigations and incidents.
  10. Lead by Example: As a representative of Lowe's, the Agent will be responsible for upholding the company's values and promoting a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Asset Protection Agent Position At Lowe's Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.

  • Previous Experience In Security Or Loss Prevention: Candidates With Previous Experience In Security Or Loss Prevention Are Preferred For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Their Ability To Handle Potentially Dangerous Situations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Asset Protection Agent, The Candidate Will Be Required To Interact With Customers, Employees, And Law Enforcement Personnel. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Handling And Diffusing Tense Situations.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: In Addition To Security And Loss Prevention Skills, Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Retail Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Store Layouts, Inventory Management, And Point-Of-Sale Systems. This Knowledge Will Help The Candidate Identify Potential Areas Of Vulnerability And Prevent Theft Or Loss.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: Asset Protection Agents At Lowe's May Be Required To Work Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, As Well As Rotating Shifts. Candidates Must Be Able To Accommodate A Flexible Work Schedule To Ensure Adequate Coverage At All Times.
