Registered Nurse - ICU

At Lovelace Health System, we are looking for a Registered Nurse - ICU who is passionate about providing exemplary care to critically ill patients. We are seeking a compassionate and highly-motivated individual with a passion for patient care and outstanding communication skills. To be successful in this role, you must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico, as well as two or more years of ICU experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Additionally, we are looking for a Registered Nurse that has the ability to prioritize, multitask, work under pressure, and think critically. Responsibilities:

-Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the ICU

-Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico

-Carry out treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians

-Monitor and assess patient health, including vital signs and other indicators

-Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

-Assess patient needs and develop appropriate interventions

-Communicate with doctors, families, and other healthcare professionals

-Administer medications as needed

-Perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and document findings

-Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and self-care

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and treatments

-Remain current on BLS, ACLS, and other certifications as needed

-Prioritize tasks, multitask, work under pressure, and think critically in all situations
