  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Use critical thinking skills to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations.
  6. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  10. Stay current on advancements in critical care and implement evidence-based practices.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced nurses.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Mexico

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Setting

  • Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
