Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct assistance to surgeons in the operating room during orthopedic surgeries.
2. Assist with patient preparation prior to surgery.
3. Prepare and organize instruments and supplies for surgery.
4. Monitor and document patient progress during surgery.
5. Observe sterile techniques and maintain a clean and safe environment.
6. Administer medications as directed by the surgeon.
7. Coordinate scheduling of pre- and post-operative appointments.
8. Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
10. Comply with all relevant policies and regulations.
