  1. Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks to support the daily operations of the Vascular department.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and ensure patient safety.
  3. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history.
  4. Assist with patient education and answering any questions or concerns.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical records.
  6. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  8. Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and participate in training and educational opportunities.
  11. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  12. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the organization.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  14. Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, and other relevant events as required.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program Through An Accredited Institution. This Ensures They Have Received A Comprehensive Education In Both Clinical And Administrative Duties.

  • Certification As A Medical Assistant: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From Either The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt). This Demonstrates A Level Of Competence And Knowledge In The Field.

  • Experience In Vascular Medicine: Candidates Must Have Prior Experience In A Vascular Medicine Setting, Either Through Previous Work Experience Or Clinical Rotations During Their Training. This Ensures They Are Familiar With The Unique Procedures And Protocols Involved In This Specialized Field.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Anatomy: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Human Anatomy. This Is Crucial For Accurately Communicating With Patients And Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Understanding And Interpreting Medical Records And Documentation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Candidates Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Being Able To Provide Clear Instructions, Actively Listen To Concerns, And Demonstrate Empathy And Compassion Towards Patients.
