- Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks to support the daily operations of the Vascular department.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist with patient education and answering any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and participate in training and educational opportunities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the organization.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, and other relevant events as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program Through An Accredited Institution. This Ensures They Have Received A Comprehensive Education In Both Clinical And Administrative Duties.
Certification As A Medical Assistant: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From Either The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt). This Demonstrates A Level Of Competence And Knowledge In The Field.
Experience In Vascular Medicine: Candidates Must Have Prior Experience In A Vascular Medicine Setting, Either Through Previous Work Experience Or Clinical Rotations During Their Training. This Ensures They Are Familiar With The Unique Procedures And Protocols Involved In This Specialized Field.
