Job Description

Are you a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Sonographer with a passion for helping expectant mothers and their babies? Look no further, as Lovelace Health System is seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing specialized ultrasound services to our patients, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of high-risk pregnancies. If you possess excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of fetal development, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others, we want to hear from you!

  1. Conduct specialized ultrasound imaging procedures for high-risk pregnancies, utilizing advanced knowledge and technical skills to produce accurate and detailed images.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various fetal conditions and abnormalities.
  3. Prioritize and manage a high volume of ultrasound appointments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services to patients.
  4. Educate and counsel expectant mothers on the ultrasound process, results, and any potential concerns or risks.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fetal development and abnormalities, as well as advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  7. Document and maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures, results, and patient information.
  8. Collaborate with the ultrasound team to ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  9. Provide support and guidance to less experienced ultrasound technicians, as needed.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided, seeking out opportunities for professional development and growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Current Certification As Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms), With Specialization In Obstetrics And Gynecology (Ob/Gyn)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Procedures

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Ultrasound Technology And Equipment, Including 3D And 4D Imaging

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
