1. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives across all departments and facilities within the Lovelace Health System.
2. Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
3. Collaborate with department heads to establish quality goals and benchmarks, and regularly evaluate progress towards meeting these goals.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for external quality audits and ensure all necessary standards and regulations are met.
5. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to quality and patient safety.
6. Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily responsibilities.
7. Communicate quality-related updates and initiatives to all staff members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Identify and implement best practices in quality management and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborate with other leaders within the organization to develop strategies for improving patient satisfaction and experience.
10. Serve as a liaison between Lovelace Health System and external organizations, such as insurance providers and regulatory agencies, regarding quality measures and initiatives.
11. Conduct regular training and education sessions for staff on quality improvement methods and techniques.
12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in quality management, and make recommendations for improvements and changes to current processes.
13. Monitor and manage quality-related budgets and resources to ensure effective and efficient use of funds.
14. Act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
