- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain university websites and digital applications.
- Implement and maintain responsive and user-friendly web designs that align with the university's brand and goals.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web development languages and tools.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay current with emerging web development trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation within the university's online presence.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure all web content is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet the needs of various departments and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and maintain a consistent visual and messaging brand across all digital platforms.
- Continuously monitor website performance and make improvements as needed to enhance user experience.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors as needed.
- Stay informed of web accessibility standards and ensure all websites and digital applications are compliant.
- Train and mentor junior web development team members as needed.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of web development standards and best practices for the university.
- Represent the university as a web development expert at conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Web Development, Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Html, Css, Javascript, And Other Web Development Languages.
Experience With Content Management Systems, Such As Wordpress Or Drupal.
Knowledge Of Web Design Principles And User Experience Best Practices.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.
