  1. Conduct high-quality ophthalmic photography procedures on patients, including fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography.
  2. Collaborate with ophthalmologists to determine the appropriate imaging techniques and settings for each patient.
  3. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning to produce accurate and clear images.
  4. Accurately label and store images in the patient's electronic medical record for future reference.
  5. Follow established safety protocols and infection control measures while working with patients.
  6. Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions they may have.
  7. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for ophthalmic photography procedures.
  8. Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient care.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest ophthalmic photography techniques and technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of ophthalmic photography services.
  13. Adhere to the organization's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the job.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and teams as needed to provide the best possible patient care.
  15. Attend training sessions, conferences, and workshops to stay current in the field of ophthalmic photography.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Ophthalmic Photography Or A Related Field.

  • Certified Retinal Angiographer (Cra) Or Certified Ophthalmic Photographer (Cop) Designation.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Ophthalmic Photography, Preferably In A Clinical Or Academic Setting.

  • Proficiency With Various Ophthalmic Imaging Equipment, Including Fundus Cameras And Oct Machines.

  • Knowledge Of Ocular Anatomy, Physiology, And Common Ophthalmic Diseases.
