- Conduct high-quality ophthalmic photography procedures on patients, including fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists to determine the appropriate imaging techniques and settings for each patient.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning to produce accurate and clear images.
- Accurately label and store images in the patient's electronic medical record for future reference.
- Follow established safety protocols and infection control measures while working with patients.
- Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions they may have.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for ophthalmic photography procedures.
- Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ophthalmic photography techniques and technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of ophthalmic photography services.

- Attend training sessions, conferences, and workshops to stay current in the field of ophthalmic photography.
Bachelor's Degree In Ophthalmic Photography Or A Related Field.
Certified Retinal Angiographer (Cra) Or Certified Ophthalmic Photographer (Cop) Designation.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Ophthalmic Photography, Preferably In A Clinical Or Academic Setting.
Proficiency With Various Ophthalmic Imaging Equipment, Including Fundus Cameras And Oct Machines.
Knowledge Of Ocular Anatomy, Physiology, And Common Ophthalmic Diseases.
