Loma Linda University is seeking a dynamic Manager of Nutritional Services to join our team at the world-renowned Loma Linda University Medical Center. As the Manager of Nutritional Services, you will have the opportunity to shape and oversee the nutritional programs and services offered at our facility.   1. Develop and implement nutritional programs and services that align with the mission and values of Loma Linda University Medical Center.
  2. Lead and manage a team of nutritionists and dietitians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  3. Ensure that all nutritional services are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated nutrition plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  6. Oversee the procurement and management of all nutritional supplies and equipment.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance the nutritional services offered at the medical center.
  8. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of nutrition and incorporate new findings into the nutritional services provided.
  9. Participate in budget planning and management for the nutritional services department.
  10. Act as a liaison between the nutritional services department and other departments within the medical center to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of nutritional services and patient progress.
  12. Advocate for the importance of nutrition in overall health and well-being to patients, staff, and the community.
  13. Participate in relevant committees and meetings to represent the nutritional services department and provide input for decision-making.
  14. Handle any issues or concerns related to nutritional services, including addressing patient complaints or questions.
  15. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of the nutritional services department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Food And Nutrition Department.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credentials From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Nutrition Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards Related To Nutrition Services, Including Joint Commission, Cms, And State And Federal Guidelines.
