  1. Provide direct patient care: The LVN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and monitoring and recording patient vital signs.
  2. Support healthcare team: The LVN will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and provide comprehensive care to patients.
  3. Maintain accurate records: The LVN will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including medical history, vital signs, and treatment plans.
  4. Communicate effectively: The LVN will communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring that all parties are well-informed and involved in the care process.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols: The LVN will follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  6. Educate patients: The LVN will educate patients about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans to promote self-care and improve health outcomes.
  7. Assist with procedures: The LVN will assist physicians with procedures, including preparing equipment and supplies, and providing support to patients during and after the procedure.
  8. Monitor and report changes in patient condition: The LVN will closely monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the healthcare team, ensuring prompt and appropriate care.
  9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The LVN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that all aspects of the patient's care are addressed.
  10. Adhere to institutional policies: The LVN will adhere to all institutional policies and procedures, including ethical standards, to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  11. Participate in continuous education: The LVN will participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based care.

Job Qualifications
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn) Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Lvn Certification From An Accredited Program, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competence In Providing Nursing Care In Various Clinical Settings.

  • Experience In Internal Medicine Specialty Clinics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In Internal Medicine Specialty Clinics, Such As Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Or Endocrinology. This Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Needs Of These Patients And Are Familiar With The Procedures And Protocols Specific To These Clinics.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Proficiency In Ehr Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Navigate Through The System Efficiently To Document Patient Information Accurately And Maintain Patient Confidentiality.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Lvn In A Specialty Clinic, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Individuals And Collaborate As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
