  1. Prepare and set up endoscopy equipment and supplies for procedures.
  2. Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopy procedures.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
  4. Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the endoscopy room.
  5. Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning correctly.
  6. Document patient information, procedures, and any complications accurately and promptly.
  7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients before, during, and after procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  12. Assist with patient scheduling and preparation for endoscopy procedures.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  14. Follow all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  15. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  16. Attend meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  17. Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills in endoscopy procedures.
  18. Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed.
  19. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Nursing Or Medical Technology.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Endoscopy Department Or Similar Clinical Setting.

  • Current Certification As An Endoscopy Technician Or Eligibility To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy And Physiology.

  • Ability To Handle And Operate Endoscopy Equipment And Instruments, And Troubleshoot Technical Issues.
