  1. Implement and maintain the electronic health record system for the organization.
  2. Work closely with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of the EHR system with other healthcare software and systems.
  3. Train and support healthcare professionals in using the EHR system effectively and efficiently.
  4. Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the EHR system and provide timely solutions.
  5. Monitor and analyze data within the EHR system to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in EHR technology and make recommendations for updates and upgrades to the system.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all EHR system processes, procedures, and configurations.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as billing and coding, to ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EHR system.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards related to the EHR system.
  10. Participate in meetings and committees related to EHR system implementation and utilization.
  11. Assist with the development and implementation of training programs for new EHR system updates or changes.
  12. Serve as a point of contact for any EHR system-related inquiries or concerns from healthcare professionals and patients.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve EHR system workflows and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  14. Act as a liaison between the EHR system vendor and the organization, communicating any issues or requests for enhancements.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Preferably In An Academic Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Ehr Systems Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Allscripts, And Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes, Including Clinical Documentation And Coding.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Support End-Users, As Well As Collaborate With Other It Professionals And Healthcare Staff.
