  1. Maintain and support Loma Linda University's clinical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  2. Collaborate with the IT team and clinical staff to implement new clinical systems and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments of clinical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Provide training and support to clinical staff on the use of clinical systems, including creating user manuals and conducting in-person or virtual training sessions.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for clinical systems, including user guides, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and functionality.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in clinical systems, recommending and implementing new technologies to enhance patient care.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Compliance, to ensure clinical systems meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  9. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT teams, communicating system updates and changes and gathering feedback from end-users.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent system issues outside of regular business hours as needed.
  11. Conduct regular system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  14. Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to clinical systems usage and maintenance.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for clinical systems, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Systems Role.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Hipaa And Meaningful Use.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Train And Support End-Users In A Clinical Environment.
