- Provide exceptional patient care: This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Urgent Care department.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments: Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and protocols, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor patient progress: Regularly assess and monitor patients' conditions, recognize any changes, and report to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain accurate records: Document all patient interactions, procedures, and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families: Provide education to patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: Follow all safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to the improvement of patient care processes and outcomes by participating in quality improvement activities and following evidence-based practices.
- Stay updated on medical advancements: Keep up-to-date with current medical advancements, trends, and best practices in the field of urgent care nursing.
- Maintain professional standards: Adhere to the ethical and professional standards set by the nursing profession and the organization.
- Act as a patient advocate: Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and their rights are respected.
- Perform other duties as assigned: Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the nurse manager or other healthcare leaders.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Inpatient Setting, Preferably In An Urgent Care Or Emergency Department.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certification.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Urgent Care Procedures And Protocols.
