As a Clinical Nurse - Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.   1. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs, oxygen levels, and other indicators to ensure appropriate anesthesia levels and patient comfort.
  3. Assess patients' medical history and current health status to determine the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia.
  4. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' anesthesia usage, medication administration, and vital signs.
  6. Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and potential side effects.
  7. Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications to ensure proper functioning and availability.
  8. Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care during anesthesia-related complications.
  9. Stay updated on advancements and changes in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
  10. Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards in patient care and confidentiality.
  11. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being and safety of patients.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for anesthesia administration.
  13. Provide support and mentorship to new staff and students in anesthesia procedures.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional care and address any concerns or questions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.

  • Certification As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) By The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Hospital Or Surgical Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Anesthesia Techniques, Medications, And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Monitor And Respond To Patient Reactions During Procedures.
