  1. Perform radiographic procedures on adult patients, specializing in central venous line (CVL) placement.
  2. Prepare and position patients for radiographic exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  3. Operate radiographic equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess for any adverse reactions during procedures.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
  6. Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  7. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
  8. Document patient information and procedures accurately in electronic medical records.
  9. Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  10. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities.
  12. Comply with departmental policies and procedures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to provide a smooth and efficient workflow.
  15. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduation From An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Two-Year Associate's Degree Or A Four-Year Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology From A Program Accredited By The Joint Review Committee On Education In Radiologic Technology (Jrcert).

  • Arrt Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiography And Have A Valid California State License. Additionally, Certification In Vascular-Interventional (Vi) Radiography Is Required For The Cvl Specialty.

  • Experience In Cvl Procedures: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist, With At Least One Year Of Experience In Performing Cvl Procedures. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Sterile Technique, Vascular Anatomy, And Equipment Used In Cvl Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment And Technology: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Radiology Equipment And Technology Used In Cvl Procedures, Including Fluoroscopy, Angiography, And Digital Imaging Systems. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Computer Software For Image Processing And Recording Patient Data.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Have A Strong Focus On Patient Care And Be Able To Provide Compassionate And Accurate Care To Patients During Cvl Procedures.
