The right candidate will be able to take ownership of the supplier quality assurance process, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote quality awareness and best practices.To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in engineering, quality, supply chain, or a related field. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management and a proven track record in driving quality assurance initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the quality of suppliers’ products.
- Monitor suppliers’ performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and educate suppliers on quality awareness and best practices.
- Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Manage supplier quality assurance audits and inspections.
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective action.
- Monitor industry trends and keep up with best practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
