Job Description

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social sustainability strategy for Lloyds Banking Group, aligning with company values and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team of social sustainability professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to integrate social responsibility into business practices and decision-making processes.
  4. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of social sustainability initiatives and propose improvements.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social sustainability, and use this knowledge to continuously improve and innovate within the company.
  6. Represent Lloyds Banking Group in external events and forums related to social sustainability, building relationships and partnerships with other organizations.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to social sustainability.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and NGOs, identifying opportunities for collaboration and community impact.
  9. Champion diversity, inclusion, and equality within the company, promoting a culture of respect and fairness.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations on social sustainability initiatives and progress for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  11. Advocate for social sustainability within the company, raising awareness and promoting engagement among employees.
  12. Foster a culture of social responsibility within the organization by organizing events, workshops, and training sessions.
  13. Act as a role model for ethical and socially responsible behavior, inspiring others to do the same.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Or Environmental Studies.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Social Sustainability Roles, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of International Sustainability Frameworks And Regulations, Such As The Un Sustainable Development Goals And The Global Reporting Initiative.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Social Sustainability Strategies Within A Large Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Drive Change At All Levels Of The Organization.
