- Develop and implement a comprehensive social sustainability strategy for the organization, in line with our overall sustainability goals and objectives
- Oversee and manage all social impact initiatives and programs, ensuring they align with our values and support our mission to create a sustainable and responsible future
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including HR, Marketing, and Operations, to embed social responsibility into all aspects of our business operations
- Conduct regular research and analysis to stay informed on social issues and trends, and use this information to guide our social sustainability efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as NGOs, community organizations, and government agencies, to identify partnership opportunities and drive collective impact
- Lead and manage a team of social sustainability professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success in their roles
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of our social sustainability initiatives, using data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to social sustainability, and ensure our organization remains in compliance and ahead of the curve
- Act as a spokesperson and advocate for our social sustainability efforts, both internally and externally, to raise awareness and promote our initiatives
- Collaborate with other leaders and departments within the organization to integrate social sustainability into our overall business strategy and operations.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Social Sustainability Practices: The Ideal Candidate For A Head Of Social Sustainability Role At Lloyds Banking Group Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Social Sustainability Principles, Frameworks, And Standards. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Social Sustainability Initiatives In A Corporate Setting.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As The Head Of Social Sustainability, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire A Team Towards A Common Goal.

Therefore, They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial And Business Principles To Align Sustainability Initiatives With The Company's Goals And Objectives.
Education And Experience: Lloyds Banking Group May Require Candidates For This Role To Have A Relevant Degree, Such As Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Or Business Management. Additionally, They May Prefer Candidates With A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.
