Job Description

Assist in planning/coordination of corporate and diversity events. Write press releases, pitch relevant story ideas, and handle assorted media issues for STARZ. Close coordination with Exec. Director, Corporate Communications and Exec. Director, Creative Diversity. Work with team, company executives, legal and programming publicity team on corporate and/or programming announcements. Manage PR relationships with external partners as needed Manage and oversee Starz.com press area and related corporate materials; work in tandem with PR publicity team members/consultants for programming publicity needs. Monitor, identify, research and submit company and/or senior executives for appropriate industry awards. Monitor, identify, and research appropriate speaking engagements for senior executives and facilitate information flow and relationships with multiple departments that will assist in providing PR support. Assist in planning/coordination of corporate and industry events.

Job Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in a consumer or business-oriented public relations environment
Experience working on DEI initiatives, events and activities
Experience working with high-level executives and maintaining the utmost of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Strong industry connections/relationships with press preferred
