Job Description

The Programming and Content Operations Coordinator provides support to the OTT department in managing and creating schedules for AVOD and linear channels and merchandising. Schedules programming materials for AVOD and linear channels with regard to day, time and repetitiveness. Works with head of department to evaluate programming and create monthly schedules, tracking licensing restrictions (run counts), etc. Manages distribution of all programming changes to all internal and external departments. Screens films and series to become familiar with audience appeal, usability and content restrictions Oversees programming metadata entry into programming software. Inserts cue points for ad breaks within content. Ensures content strength is consistent and appropriate for the channels. Performs final QC of the log before its release for playout. Assists in pulling programming reports and be fully aware of inventory strength and the competitive television landscape. Prepares and gains approval for program schedules

Job Qualifications

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
At least 2+ years of scheduling experience with broadcast/cable or OTT linear program service
Knowledge of scheduling and progarmming software is a plus
