  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Perform thorough testing and debugging of RPG applications to ensure high-quality and reliable software.

  6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior RPG developers.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

  10. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within RPG development.
  11. Maintain accurate documentation for all developed RPG applications.

  14. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in RPG programming and integrate them into current projects.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Rpg Programming Language: A Senior Rpg Developer At Lincare Holdings Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Rpg Programming Language. They Should Be Knowledgeable In All Versions Of Rpg, Including Rpg Iii, Ile Rpg, And Rpg Iv.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ibm Iseries Systems: To Be Successful In This Role, A Senior Rpg Developer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ibm Iseries Systems And Their Capabilities. They Should Be Able To Navigate And Troubleshoot Issues Within These Systems With Ease.

  • Advanced Database Management Skills: Lincare Holdings Relies Heavily On Data Management And Storage, Making It Essential For A Senior Rpg Developer To Have Advanced Skills In Database Management. This Includes Knowledge Of Sql, Db2, And Other Related Technologies.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Senior Rpg Developer, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Development Projects. Therefore, Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Organizing, And Executing Projects, Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
