Job Description

Lincare Holdings is looking for an experienced and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating respiratory diseases and disorders in our patients. Your clinical expertise and dedication to patient satisfaction will make you an invaluable member of our team.To be successful in this role, you should have relevant clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of respiratory treatments and procedures. Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat respiratory diseases and disorders in patients.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and patient-specific instructions.
  3. Monitor patients’ respiratory status and progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Perform tests and interpret results to assess respiratory function.
  5. Educate patients and their families about the proper use of respiratory equipment and techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and document all patient care activities.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  8. Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in respiratory care.
  9. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements and ethical standards of the respiratory therapist profession.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
