Job Description

At Lincare Holdings, we are looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team of compassionate and caring professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and technical skills in the delivery of respiratory care services and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care. They should have excellent communication and organizational skills, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced medical environment.The successful candidate must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), and at least two years of recent experience. Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:

  1. Provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostics, treatment, and monitoring.
  2. Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and the use of respiratory devices.
  3. Monitor patients’ response to treatments and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
  4. Keep up to date on the latest advances in respiratory care and equipment.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure proper care and treatment of patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  7. Keep equipment and supplies in good working order.
  8. Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
  10. Participate in continuing education and other professional development activities.
