Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy: A Minimum Of A Four-Year Degree In Respiratory Therapy Is Required For This Position. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Respiratory Care.

  • State Licensure And Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid State License To Practice As A Respiratory Therapist. In Addition, They Must Also Hold A Current Certification From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).

  • Experience In Acute And Critical Care Settings: Lincare Holdings Is A Leading Provider Of Respiratory Care Services In Acute And Critical Care Settings. Therefore, Candidates With Prior Experience In These Settings Will Be Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Ventilator Management: The Ability To Manage And Troubleshoot Ventilators Is A Crucial Skill For A Respiratory Therapist At Lincare Holdings. Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ventilator Modes, Settings, And Alarms.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Respiratory Therapist, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport And Delivering Quality Care.
