  1. Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical needs and dietary restrictions.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and dietitians, to ensure the nutrition plans align with the overall treatment plan for each patient.
  3. Monitor and assess patient progress on nutrition plans, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and the importance of following their nutrition plan for optimal health outcomes.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient nutrition plans and progress.
  6. Stay informed on the latest research and developments in medical nutrition to continuously improve patient care and services.
  7. Work closely with insurance companies to obtain coverage for medical nutrition services for eligible patients.
  8. Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to coordinate the delivery of medical nutrition supplies and equipment.
  9. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families on how to use and maintain medical nutrition equipment.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to medical nutrition services.
  11. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on company policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Act as a liaison between patients and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the quality and effectiveness of medical nutrition services.
  15. Foster a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Community Nutrition Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Enteral And Parenteral Nutrition, And Disease-Specific Nutrition Interventions

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Range Of Patients And Healthcare Professionals
