- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
- Monitor and track patient progress and make adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in nutrition to provide the most current and effective recommendations.
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals regarding nutrition and dietary needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon current nutrition protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field: A Medical Nutrition Coordinator At Lincare Holdings Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field. This Ensures They Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Nutrition And Its Impact On Overall Health.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification: Lincare Holdings Requires Candidates To Have An Rd Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr). This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Requirements For Education And Training In Nutrition And Is Qualified To Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Experience In Healthcare Or Related Field: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Working With Patients To Develop Personalized Nutrition Plans.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Nutrition Coordinator, Strong Communication Skills Are Necessary To Work With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members Effectively. Candidates Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Rapport With Patients And Their Families.
