As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our company by managing the intake process for new patients and coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for their care.   1. Manage the intake process for new patients, ensuring all necessary information is accurately collected and entered into the system.
  2. Coordinate with various departments, including patient services, billing, and insurance, to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  3. Communicate with patients and their families to gather necessary information and answer any questions they may have.
  4. Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance requirements and regulations to ensure compliance.
  6. Keep detailed and organized records of patient information and intake process.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate care plans are in place for new patients.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve intake processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Intake Or Patient Coordination.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Insurance Companies.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Procedures, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
