As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting medical equipment and supplies to various healthcare facilities and homes.   1. Safely and efficiently transport medical equipment and supplies to designated locations, including healthcare facilities and patient homes.
  2. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues to the appropriate person.
  3. Load and unload equipment and supplies in a timely and organized manner, following proper safety protocols.
  4. Verify all necessary paperwork and documentation is accurate and complete for each delivery.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to any questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly secured.
  7. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  8. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
  9. Communicate any delays or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties and offer solutions to minimize any impact on customers.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record: A Delivery Driver For Medical Equipment At Lincare Holdings Must Have A Current And Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record To Safely Operate A Company Vehicle And Transport Sensitive Medical Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Safety Protocols: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Medical Equipment, Such As Oxygen Tanks, Wheelchairs, And Respiratory Equipment, As Well As Proper Handling And Safety Protocols For Transporting These Items.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role May Require Lifting And Moving Heavy Medical Equipment, Therefore, A Delivery Driver Must Have Physical Stamina And Be Able To Safely Lift And Move Objects Weighing Up To 50 Pounds.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role As The Delivery Driver Will Be Interacting With Patients, Caregivers, And Medical Professionals. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Necessary For Accurately Delivering And Explaining Instructions For Medical Equipment.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: A Delivery Driver For Medical Equipment Must Have Excellent Time Management And Organizational Skills To Ensure Timely And Accurate Delivery Of Equipment To Multiple Locations. They May Also Be Responsible For Maintaining Delivery Schedules And Keeping Track Of Inventory.
