  1. Safely and efficiently deliver medical equipment and supplies to customers in a timely manner.
  2. Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  3. Ensure accuracy of delivery by verifying orders and obtaining required signatures.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to customers.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked.
  6. Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  7. Communicate any delivery delays or issues to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  8. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines while operating the delivery vehicle and handling equipment.
  9. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  10. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, as well as sensitivity to their medical needs.
  11. Attend training and development opportunities to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
  12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company and its values.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
  14. Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  15. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, privacy, and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: A Delivery Driver For Medical Equipment At Lincare Holdings Must Possess A Valid Driver's License For The State In Which They Will Be Driving. This Is Necessary To Ensure The Safe And Legal Operation Of Company Vehicles.

  • Clean Driving Record: As A Delivery Driver For Medical Equipment, It Is Crucial To Have A Clean Driving Record. This Includes No Major Traffic Violations Or Accidents In The Past Few Years. Lincare Holdings Values Safe And Responsible Drivers To Represent The Company On The Road.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: To Be Successful In This Role, A Delivery Driver Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Equipment And How It Operates. This Will Help Them In Loading, Unloading, And Delivering The Equipment Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Physical Stamina: Delivery Drivers For Medical Equipment Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Objects, Such As Oxygen Tanks Or Medical Beds. They May Also Need To Navigate Stairs And Other Obstacles While Carrying Equipment. Therefore, Good Physical Stamina Is Essential For This Job.

  • Customer Service Skills: Lincare Holdings Prioritizes Excellent Customer Service, And This Is No Exception For Their Delivery Drivers.
