Job Description

  1. Safely and timely deliver medical equipment to patients in need.
  2. Ensure the proper handling and storage of all medical equipment during transportation.
  3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service while interacting with patients.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a smooth delivery process.
  5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operating company vehicles.
  6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit necessary paperwork on time.
  7. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper inventory levels and efficient delivery routes.
  8. Keep track of delivery schedules and prioritize urgent deliveries.
  9. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues or repairs needed.
  10. Uphold company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and provide feedback to management.
  12. Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery goals.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
  14. Attend training and safety meetings as required.
  15. Serve as a positive representative of Lincare Holdings and promote a positive image of the company.

  • Valid Driver's License: A Delivery Driver For Medical Equipment At Lincare Holdings Must Have A Valid Driver's License In The State They Will Be Working In. This Is Essential For Operating Company Vehicles And Adhering To State And Local Laws.

  • Clean Driving Record: A Clean Driving Record Is Crucial For A Delivery Driver At Lincare Holdings. This Includes No Major Traffic Violations Or Accidents Within The Past Five Years.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Delivery Driver, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills, Such As Patience, Empathy, And Clear Communication, Are Necessary To Provide An Excellent Customer Experience.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Loading And Unloading Heavy Medical Equipment, Often On A Daily Basis. Delivery Drivers Must Be Physically Fit And Capable Of Safely Lifting And Maneuvering Heavy Objects.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: While Previous Experience With Medical Equipment Is Not Always Required, Having Knowledge Of Basic Medical Equipment And Their Proper Use Is Beneficial. This Can Help The Driver Troubleshoot And Provide Basic Instructions To Customers Upon Delivery.
