- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the durable medical equipment center, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to patients, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of durable medical equipment technicians, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators, such as patient satisfaction and equipment utilization, and take necessary actions to improve performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as billing and insurance, to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient orders and claims.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff and provide ongoing coaching and training to improve their skills and performance.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures for the durable medical equipment center, in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources to promote the services of the center and increase patient referrals.
- Stay informed about advancements and changes in the durable medical equipment industry and apply this knowledge to improve processes and services at the center.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment for staff and patients.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Management Position, Preferably In The Durable Medical Equipment Industry
Strong Understanding Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations And Reimbursement Policies
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Team And Meeting Financial Goals
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Stakeholders.
