  1. Perform interventional radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Operate specialized equipment and tools used in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality of images.
  3. Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures, including patient information and images.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Continuously assess and improve technical skills, staying up-to-date with advancements in interventional radiology procedures and technology.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  10. Demonstrate a compassionate and professional attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers.
  11. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by communicating effectively and working as a team.
  12. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Interventional Radiology Procedures.

  • Certification As A Registered Technologist (Rt) In Radiography Through The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Interventional Radiology Equipment, Including Angiography Machines, Fluoroscopy Machines, And Ultrasound Equipment.

  • Ability To Assist And Collaborate With Physicians In Performing Complex Interventional Procedures, Such As Biopsies, Drainages, And Stent Placements.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Provide Emotional Support To Patients During Procedures.
