As a Security Officer at LifePoint Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, employees, and visitors.   1. Monitor and maintain the overall security and safety of the facility, including all entrances, exits, and surrounding property.
  2. Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address any potential security risks or breaches.
  3. Respond promptly and appropriately to all security incidents, including but not limited to disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies.
  4. Utilize security equipment and systems, such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems, to monitor and identify potential security threats.
  5. Enforce all security protocols and procedures, including visitor sign-in processes and bag checks.
  6. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services in the event of a security breach or emergency situation.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents, including written reports and documentation of any evidence.
  8. Conduct regular safety and security training for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to security protocols.
  9. Stay informed on industry best practices and advancements in security technology to consistently improve security measures.
  10. Demonstrate a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with patients, employees, and visitors, while still enforcing security policies and procedures.
  11. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, representing LifePoint Health in a positive manner.
  12. Take immediate action and make quick decisions in emergency situations, prioritizing the safety and security of all individuals on site.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security.
  14. Attend and actively participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
  15. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other members of the security team, as well as other departments within the organization.
