Rehabilitation Technician PRN

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician PRN to join our team at LifePoint Health. This individual will be a key member of our team, providing exemplary care to our patients while upholding our core values of dignity and respect. This position requires an individual with a minimum of an Associate’s degree in an applicable field, or a certificate in a specialized field, and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take initiative, work independently, and provide excellent customer service. We seek an individual with exceptional clinical abilities and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist physical therapists and other healthcare professionals in providing rehabilitative care to patients.
2. Provide direct patient care, including transport, lifting, and positioning.
3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document services.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families about rehabilitative exercises and treatments.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
7. Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
8. Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date with best practices.
9. Perform administrative tasks, such as filing patient records and completing paperwork.
10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
