- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the system.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and coordinate with other departments.
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance information.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and assistance when needed.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Excellent Communication Skills: A Receptionist Prn Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Visitors, And Staff Members.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Tasks, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Scheduling Appointments, And Maintaining Patient Records.
Customer Service Experience: A Receptionist Prn Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role To Provide A Positive And Professional Experience For Patients And Visitors.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Familiarity With Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Receptionist Prn To Accurately Schedule Appointments And Communicate With Healthcare Professionals.
