- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, range of motion, and mobility.
- Utilize various modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, to relieve pain and promote healing.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing future injuries.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient encounters and treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive healthcare experience.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Represent LifePoint Health in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution
Current State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals
Ability To Work Independently And Manage A Flexible Schedule To Meet The Needs Of Patients And The Organization.
