Pharmacy Technician - PRN

We are looking for an experienced, passionate Pharmacy Technician - PRN to join the team at LifePoint Health! As a Pharmacy Technician - PRN, you will assist the Pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be an integral part of our team.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Pharmacy Technician certification. You must also be able to maintain all records of medication, supplies, and pharmacy orders in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, you must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines. Finally, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations.
2. Maintain records of medication, supplies, and pharmacy orders in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
4. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
5. Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
6. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
7. Ensure accuracy of all medications and prescriptions.
8. Keep up to date with current pharmacy trends and regulations.
9. Assist with inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
10. Answer phone inquiries and provide customers with information about medications and other pharmacy services.
