Pharmacy Technician - PRN

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and distribution of medications as prescribed by physicians.
2. Manage the inventory of medications within the pharmacy.
3. Answer customer inquiries about medications and other pharmacy services.
4. Ensure accuracy of prescriptions by verifying dose, directions, and drug interactions.
5. Process prescriptions and enter patient and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
7. Monitor controlled substances and maintain logbooks.
8. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
9. Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking of medications.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
