Patient Care Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with treatments, examinations, and other medical procedures.
2. Assist nurses and other medical personnel with patient care needs, including dressing changes, wound care, and other treatments.
3. Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes in vital signs or other indicators to the nursing staff.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
5. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies.
6. Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
7. Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
8. Follow all relevant health and safety regulations in the workplace.
9. Maintain knowledge and understanding of current medical procedures and treatments.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
