  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Maintain patient records and document all care provided accurately.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans for patients.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Act as an advocate for patients and their needs.
  11. Assist with transporting patients to and from appointments or procedures.
  12. Attend training and educational programs to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
  13. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Demonstrate a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare team members.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pca Prn At Lifepoint Health Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Education And Understanding Of Medical Terminology.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Lifepoint Health Requires Pcas To Have A Current Cna Certification To Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide Direct Patient Care.

  • Experience In Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Nursing Home, Is Preferred For A Pca Prn Role At Lifepoint Health. This Experience Helps Demonstrate A Basic Understanding Of Patient Care And Medical Procedures.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Since Pcas May Be Responsible For Assisting With Emergency Situations, Lifepoint Health Requires All Candidates To Have A Current Bls Certification To Ensure They Are Trained In Basic Life Support Techniques.
