  1. Provide administrative support to the healthcare team by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence.
  2. Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all individuals.
  3. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail when managing patient information and medical records.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather and accurately input patient information into electronic medical records.
  5. Handle phone calls and inquiries from patients, referring physicians, and other medical professionals in a professional and compassionate manner.
  6. Assist with insurance verification and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  7. Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  8. Help maintain a clean and organized office space, including disinfecting and restocking exam rooms and common areas.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information and support as needed.
  10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  11. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and experience by actively seeking feedback and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  12. Act as a liaison between patients and the healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and organizational policies.
  14. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Medical Office Assistant Program Or Equivalent Education/Training In Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Medical Office Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Computer Software Used In Medical Offices.
