- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any questions or concerns and providing clear instructions for follow-up care.
- Accurately update and maintain patient records and medical documentation.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Qualified Candidate For A Medical Assistant Position At Lifepoint Health's Ortho Clinic Should Have Completed An Accredited Program For Medical Assistants. This Ensures That The Individual Has Received Proper Training And Education In Medical Procedures, Terminology And Patient Care.
Certification As A Medical Assistant: In Addition To Completing A Medical Assistant Program, A Candidate Should Also Hold A Certification As A Medical Assistant.
