Job Description

At LifePoint Health, we are looking for a Manager to join our Transfer Center - Access Point team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and patient experience. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible relevant healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital or call center environment. The Manager must have a high level of knowledge in patient transfers, coordination of services, and support of the patient and family experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have a college degree in healthcare, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Reporting to the Director of the Transfer Center, the Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Center - Access Point. This position requires an individual who is dedicated, collaborative, and a creative problem-solver. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Center - Access Point.
  2. Ensure coordination of services and support of the patient and family experience.
  3. Manage and lead a team of Transfer Center staff.
  4. Maintain high levels of customer service and patient experience.
  5. Monitor and analyze performance data and process indicators.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies.
  7. Participate in facility-wide committees and initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Facilitate communication between the Transfer Center - Access Point and other departments.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
