
Manager, Transfer Center - Access Point
At LifePoint Health, we are looking for a Manager to join our Transfer Center - Access Point team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and patient experience. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible relevant healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital or call center environment. The Manager must have a high level of knowledge in patient transfers, coordination of services, and support of the patient and family experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have a college degree in healthcare, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Reporting to the Director of the Transfer Center, the Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Center - Access Point. This position requires an individual who is dedicated, collaborative, and a creative problem-solver. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Center - Access Point.
- Ensure coordination of services and support of the patient and family experience.
- Manage and lead a team of Transfer Center staff.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and patient experience.
- Monitor and analyze performance data and process indicators.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies.
- Participate in facility-wide committees and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate communication between the Transfer Center - Access Point and other departments.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
