Licensed Practical Nurse

We are looking for a compassionate and talented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the LifePoint Health team. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and carrying out treatments. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care.To succeed in this role, you must have a current LPN license and at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications to patients in accordance with physician instruction and state regulations.
2. Monitor patients’ vital signs and symptoms to assess health needs and report changes to physicians.
3. Carry out treatments, such as dressing changes or wound care, as ordered by physicians.
4. Assist patients with personal care needs, such as bathing and grooming.
5. Perform diagnostic tests, such as taking blood pressure or temperatures.
6. Educate patients and families on treatments and preventive care.
7. Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
8. Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments and medications administered.
9. Ensure that all patient care is provided in accordance with established standards and regulations.
10. Provide emotional support to patients and families.
